With the theme Game On: A New Era of Public Health, the 2026 Public Health Conference of Iowa (PHCI) will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities designed to help participants unlock new strategies, level up their skills, and connect with partners dedicated to advancing equity and creating healthier communities. Together, we’ll navigate new challenges, discover innovative solutions, and move public health into its next era—one level at a time.

Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport

The 2026 Public Health Conference of Iowa is being held at the Holiday Inn Des Moines-Airport/Conf Center. The venue, adjacent to the Des Moines International Airport, provides a prime location minutes from Des Moines City Center. The unique tropical courtyard with indoor pool and whirlpool is always a favorite! They offer a wide array of amenities such as their expanded fitness center, fridge and microwave, free Wi-Fi and hard-wired Internet access in every room plus a 24-hour business center with computers, copy and print services.
