With the Legislative Forum, IPHA creates a venue for our members and partners to listen and engage with each other and policymakers on important public health issues that are likely to see action during the 2026 Iowa legislative session. This signature IPHA event is valued by IPHA members, partners and policy makers alike.

The agenda for the day will follow previous years with round robin networking in the morning, and two afternoon panels - one with public health professionals and the other with legislators. This year, we will be joined by Senators Kara Warme and Mike Zimmer, and Representatives Austin Harris and Heather Matson. Our Public Health Panel will include Dr. Robert Kruse, Dr. Mary Charlton, and Kady Reese.
